Eventually, every time you join a meeting it will direct to your application moving forward. Zoom Community. Launch is "start" for me and I remember having started a meeting with that button a couple of times without joining one - I became the host, then, no one in the channel.
In my opinion, the button would have to be called Join Meeting. That is why I avoided the button. The answer might be really obvious to everyone, but not for me ;. I have English as a second language and I never use "launch" in everyday life, my fault.
In your picture there is a button that says "Launch Meeting", if you press that, it will take you to the meeting you want to join. I have seen that, of course. It is just a language thing here. I normally use Linux, but once when I had to use Zoom on a Windows computer, despite having Zoom installed, the "Launch Meeting" option didn't work for me - it started Zoom without the meeting data, so I had to manually enter the meeting ID and password.
